Are you a web developer? Love to work on CMS (Content Management System)? Then you are going to make a big and bold move towards CMS world via Drupal 8. It is going to evolve as a unified web based platform rather than limiting itself only as a CMS. Let’s have a trip towards some exciting features of Drupal 8.
Drupal 8 is going to introduce support for mobile web, support for responsive and adaptive design, configuration management enhancement, better support and integration with third- party apps, web service APIs and cleaner data models, partial page caching and improvement of multi lingual support. It will also add more uniformity to data structures; assign universal unique IDs (UUIDs) to multiple types of content to enhance streamlined development. To give support for mobile web, themes have been changed to make it responsive according to the browser width. Two new modules of Drupal 8 are ban and breakpoint. Ban module enhances the power of site admin, which enables the banning of IP address. Break point module manages the breakpoint groups. It will introduce machine to machine communication which will facilitate us for some actions like sharing feeds between Drupal sites. Some elements from symphony web framework and WYSIWYG editing will also be integrated in Drupal 8. The introduction of this amazing CMS would be a landmark of vast improvement in worldwide web technology.
