Lately, another significant announcement done by Drupal of releasing another beta version of Drupal 7.x. Drupal launched its last beta version a month ago. In which Drupal has provided a wide-ranging list of enhancements done since Drupal 6.x, so now it’s time to be acquainted with the new Drupal 7 release and to check if it is as solid as its earlier versions.
People have grown to love with Drupal’s every new release because of its features. These include user account registration and maintenance, menu management, RSS-feeds, page layout customization, and system administration.
Now in its new release Drupal Includes:
• Copious squeezes to basic navigation in the default profile for overloaded information deterrence.
• Better error trapping during installation and upgrade for various incompatible systems, based on error reports from folks newly trying out Drupal 7 on various environments.
• Better support for exportable in the form of a new Form API type “machine name” and format IDs stored as strings rather than integers.
• Links can now participate in the D7 AJAX framework, which was previously limited to forms.
• A raised minimum version of PHP to PHP 5.2.4, to facilitate stream wrapper security.
• Fixed a regression in Schema API that prevented modules such as Date from adding to the column types supported by core.
• Profile module no longer shows up on the module listing on new sites, in favor of fieldable user entities.
