The Joomla! project is proud to announce the availability of Joomla 1.6 beta 5. This is intended to be used for evaluation purpose only, so it is not meant for production sites. Joomla 1.6 beta 4 was released on 28th June 2010. Since then, 65 issues have been fixed up in the tracker. Much of this progress is directly related to the stepping efforts of the Joomla! Bug Squad.
