The Joomla Project is proud to announce the immediate availability of Joomla 1.6 beta 8. Since the release date of Joomla 1.6 beta 7, the team has fixed approximately 90 issues in the tracker. The credit goes to the continued efforts of the Joomla! bug squad. This is the eighth in the series of continuous beta releases. Beta 9 will be released on September 6, 2010. Each new update brings Joomla! one increment closer to stable so as to provide the best CMS solutions to its large user base.
