VRI Direct is a language interpreting app which can do audio and video language interpreting from the application. Hospitals, health clinics, language interpreting agencies, government agencies, primary and secondary schools, colleges, universities, hotels and many others use VRI Direct's communications solutions every day to improve patient outcomes, reduce interpreting costs, gain instant access to language interpreting, and bridge language barriers across the United States and Canada for spoken and signed languages.

Key Challenges

• This project had to be completed quickly, effectively and without errors and the addition of two more languages made this assignment even more of a priority and a challenge.
• Whenever an update need arises, teams working on the content need to refer back to previously translated segments, providing faster turnaround times, more consistent translations and reduced costs.

Proposition & Solution

• We developed an application which automatically converts what you say into dozens of languages, LIVE in real-time and at full speed, making your words almost instantly understandable by a global audience.
• For one-way voice translation (such as a presentation) or multi-directional voice translation (conversation or meeting), everyone speaks in their native language and chooses their preferred language for subtitles and/or translated voice.

Our Development Process

• The Discovery Phase- Our business analysts performed a lot of research and brainstorming before the app development process. At the end of the discovery phase the “Who, Why, What, When and Where” of the project were thoroughly scrutinized.
• The Execution Phase- After gathering all the nuts and bolts to proceed, it was time for project execution. Our designers, developers and quality analysts followed agile development process for execution and worked side-by-side to achieve the project aims. Our project managers also did regular reviews to check the progress of the project went smoothly and according to the time.
• Sprint Base Project Delivery-We took client’s feedback on each stage of development and applied the feedback in the project. It helped us to meet the client’s expectations in the best possible manner.
• The Deployment Phase- Now, app was ready to be unleashed to the world after rigorous development & testing period. We deployed the app in the appstore.
