Custom software,
one point of contact for the whole build.

Bespoke web applications, product engineering and IoT builds. PixelCrayons is your point of contact: we scope the work and write the proposal. Our sister company ValueCoders delivers the engineering, under that one proposal and one account team, so you sign once and never manage two vendors for one build.

Who does what

One contact,
one proposal, two teams.

01

One point of contact, one proposal

You brief PixelCrayons once. We scope the build, write a single proposal covering the whole engagement, and stay your account owner throughout, so you're never stitching together two vendor relationships for one project.

Every engagement
02

Custom web applications

Bespoke applications built to your architecture, not a template stretched to fit: internal tools, customer portals and product platforms, engineered by our sibling company ValueCoders.

ValueCoders
03

IoT builds

Device connectivity, telemetry ingestion and the dashboards operators actually watch: sensor-to-cloud pipelines engineered end to end by ValueCoders, from protocol selection through to the reporting layer, so a connected-device idea gets one accountable build partner rather than a stack of unrelated point solutions.

ValueCoders
04

Product and SaaS engineering

Multi-tenant architecture, billing integration and the operational tooling a software product needs beyond its first release, engineered by ValueCoders under the same coordinated proposal.

ValueCoders
05

The marketing and web side, still ours

Where a build needs a marketing site, a store front end or an SEO programme alongside the engineering, that stays PixelCrayons' own work, coordinated by the same account team so nothing falls into a gap between two companies.

PixelCrayons
How it works

Brief to a proposal
naming both scopes.

01
Start

Brief and a call

We sign an NDA and you describe what you're building; PixelCrayons confirms which parts are engineering (ValueCoders) and which are marketing or web (PixelCrayons).

02
Once the brief is complete

One proposal, both scopes named

We confirm when the proposal arrives. It names each team's responsibilities, acceptance conditions and pricing in one document, never blurred into one line item.

03
Your decision

You sign off

You confirm the scope, the payment and the access we need. Nothing starts before this.

04
Typically 2 to 3 business days later

The team starts

ValueCoders staffs the engineering against the confirmed scope, and PixelCrayons' account team stays your single contact for status, escalation and billing.

05
On the date in your proposal

First sprint demo

Sprint demos and written updates flow through the same account team, whoever is holding the keyboard, and ValueCoders stays named throughout.

Inside Prism

Your engagement, week to week,
in one workspace.

Prism is the client workspace where your requests, approvals, tasks and weekly reviews live.

Where the engagement includes it, your build runs in a Prism workspace you log into: requests, approvals, the task list and the weekly review, beside the repository your team already owns.

  • 01

    Requests and approvals

One queue, beside the repository your team owns.

  • 02

    Owned tasks

Every task has one owner and a date.

  • 03

    Weekly review

Each decision recorded, with the expectation attached.

How we report it, in Prism

The delivery record,
you can read without a stand-up.

What you receive in month one

Development is reported as artefacts in your own tools, not a status call. In the first month you receive the technical audit of the current codebase, the delivery plan broken into reviewed increments with acceptance criteria, and the environment map showing where code runs and who can deploy it. The weekly review in Prism lists what merged, what was reviewed, and what is blocked and by whom.

  • 01Technical audit: the current codebase, its risks, and the order of fixes
  • 02Delivery plan: increments with acceptance criteria and review owners
  • 03Environment map: development, staging and production, and who deploys
  • 04Weekly review in Prism: merged, in review, blocked, and the reason for each block
  • 05Definition of done: tests, review, accessibility and performance checks per increment

Questions

Frequently
asked.

ValueCoders, our sister company, does the engineering: custom web applications, product engineering and IoT builds. PixelCrayons scopes the work, writes the single proposal and stays your account owner throughout, including any website, store or marketing work beside the build. ValueCoders is named plainly here and throughout delivery.

Yes, as part of this page rather than a separate one: device connectivity, telemetry pipelines and the operator-facing dashboards on top, engineered by ValueCoders end to end. If your project is IoT specifically, brief us on the devices and the data you need out of them and the proposal will scope that build on its own.

Web Development (/development/web-development) is PixelCrayons' own delivery: marketing sites, portals and web apps built by our own engineering team. This page is for custom software, product engineering and IoT work, which is ValueCoders' scope. If you're not sure which fits, brief either page and we'll route the proposal correctly.

One account team, for the whole relationship. ValueCoders' name and role are stated plainly in the proposal and throughout delivery, but escalation, billing coordination and status reporting all run through the same PixelCrayons account team you signed with, so you're never left coordinating two vendors yourself.

There's no flat rate card: scope, integrations and platform choice set the cost, not a page count. Every proposal is scoped against your brief and itemises exactly what ships, naming which team delivers which part. Once we have a complete brief, we confirm the date you will receive your proposal.
