How to choose

How do you choose
the right firm?

The score ranks firms overall. Your project decides which one fits. This list is written for b2B companies that want qualified leads and pipeline from paid, content and account-based campaigns run by an agency.

Pipeline your sales team can work
Look for case studies that report qualified leads, demos or pipeline, not form fills alone.
A short list of target accounts
Look for account-based work with named accounts reached and meetings won.
A clear fee
Look for a published monthly fee or minimum, shown in each firm's details, and who owns the ad accounts.

How this list is made

How is this list made,
and what is our interest?

PixelCrayons publishes this list and is a B2B lead generation firm itself. It is listed here, not ranked: it has no published B2B lead generation case study yet, and every ranked firm needs one. ValueCoders, our sister company in the Vinove group, is left out of every list. That way the group never holds two places.

No firm paid to be ranked or listed, or was asked to. We considered 38 firms and ranked those with enough public evidence to score fairly. Firms that offer the service but cannot be scored yet appear under “Also listed”, in alphabetical order with no score. Every figure links to the page we read it from, with the date.

Read the full PixelCrayons Index method, or download this list as CSV. You are free to reuse our scores and this compilation under CC BY 4.0 if you credit PixelCrayons. The figures we read from Clutch and the firms’ own sites remain theirs. A ranked or listed firm can correct its data: send a correction with a source through the request form. A firm that would like to be listed can use the same form; it is free and changes no rank. Firms on this list can get a free Ranked or Listed seal.

Questions

What buyers
ask about this list.

This list compares marketing agencies that create demand through campaigns. Firms that book meetings by calling or emailing on your behalf, and companies that sell contact data, do a different job, so they are out of scope rather than scored low.

Lead generation captures contact details from people already looking. Demand generation builds interest first, so more buyers are ready when they look. Most agencies here do both, and their case studies show whether they report leads, pipeline or revenue.

Gripped has the lowest Clutch minimum project on this list, $5,000+, and ranks number 1 with 67.9. 0 of the 4 firms that show a minimum take projects under $5,000. Check the hourly band too.

Directive, with 56 Clutch reviews and a rating of 4.8. The median firm here has 22 reviews. A rating from many reviews tells you more than one from a few, so the score pulls thin ratings toward the middle.

3 of the 12 ranked firms publish prices or rate bands on their own site: Gripped, Kalungi and Refine Labs. The others share prices after a first call. Publishing prices earns points for transparency, whatever the price is.

On this list, Clutch minimum projects run from $5,000+ to $250,000+, and the most common hourly band is $150 - $199. Your scope sets the real price, so ask each firm for a written estimate.

Every firm is scored out of 100 by the PixelCrayons Index: client reviews on Clutch, depth of B2B lead generation work, published pricing, track record and recent activity. The weights are fixed and published, and no firm paid to be ranked or listed.

Only where it qualifies like any other firm: it must offer the service and show at least one case study in it. When it's listed, it's scored on the same evidence and weights as everyone else and sits wherever that score puts it.

Every month. Each firm's figures are checked again, the scores are recalculated, and the changelog on this page says what moved and why.

Changelog

What changed
in each edition?

Updated every month. Each edition is checked again from the sources.

  1. First edition: service pages, case studies and recent work read on 5 November 2026, with Clutch and Google figures read by hand. A case study counts only as a page of its own on the firm's own site; a firm with no case study in this discipline is listed without a score.
