In one answer

PixelCrayons builds chatbots, workflow automation and knowledge systems under partner agencies' brands: grounded in the client's own data, with human checkpoints and evaluation before launch. Your agency owns the client relationship and the retail price; we deliver behind your logo at wholesale rates, with reporting in your templates and a pilot your client call can lean on. Nothing ships that promises zero hallucinations; what we sell shows its sources and keeps a human in the loop. NDA at signature, zero-competition in the contract, 12-month post-engagement blackout. 100+ agency partners keep us on their bench; this is one of the disciplines they resell.

What your agency resells

The AI bench,
sold as yours.

01

Chatbots grounded in their own documentation

Support and sales assistants built on a retrieval pipeline over the client's own help centre, policies and past tickets, so every answer shows the source it came from, and anything uncertain hands over to a human instead of guessing. Your agency sells the use case; we build the assistant behind your logo.

First pilot
02

Workflow automation with a human in the loop

Intake, triage, data entry and reporting handled automatically, with a checkpoint wherever judgement matters: approvals above a threshold, exceptions, anything that changes a system of record. Built into the tools the client already runs, not a rip-and-replace pitch you have to defend.

As scoped
03

Knowledge systems and RAG (retrieval-grounded answers), one pipeline

Retrieval-augmented pipelines over the client's own documentation, powering search, a support-team lookup or an internal assistant, with citations on every answer and retrieval that respects the permissions already in place. One build, several surfaces you can quote separately.

As scoped
04

Evaluation and guardrails before anything ships

Every build runs against an evaluation suite drawn from the client's real questions or queue before a customer or employee sees it: grounding checks, refusal cases, prompt-injection resistance. You see the scores and sign off on launch; nothing goes live on a demo alone.

Before launch
05

Reporting your client call can lean on

A weekly review in Prism, written up in your templates with your logo: what shipped, what's logged, what's still supervised versus running unattended. Written so you can forward it unedited or present it live, and plain about what the evaluation did and didn't prove.

The build-or-buy decision

Four ways to add AI,
side by side.

Reliability, brand safety, scalability, governance and the costs that don't show up in the quote: the five things that actually decide it when your name is on a chatbot or an automation running unattended.

Intro call

Thirty minutes on your clients, your margins and where AI fits your offer. No pitch deck, no obligation to bring a project.

02
This week

NDA + rate card on file

The capability pack and wholesale AI rate card arrive; we sign your NDA. From here you quote chatbot, automation or knowledge-system work in any pitch, months before there's a client. Partner rates are published on agencies.pixelcrayons.com if you want the number first.

03
When a client signs

First branded pilot

Discovery and a written scope land in your templates within days; the first working pilot (grounded in the client's own data, evaluated before anyone sees it) ships inside 14 days of the engagement starting. Proposals against the rate card arrive within 48 hours.

04
As you grow

The AI pod scales

One pilot becomes a roadmap; overflow becomes a retainer. The same pod stays on your accounts, and the average partnership runs past two years.

Where partners sell it

The client types
AI pilots come from.

Grounded chatbots, automation and knowledge systems earn their keep wherever a repetitive queue or a sprawling document set is already the client's problem. These are the sectors partner briefs come from most.

How we report it, in Prism

The eval scorecard,
before the pilot goes near a customer.

What you receive in month one

AI work is reported against an evaluation set built before any model is chosen. In the first month you receive the task definition with the inputs and acceptable outputs written down, the eval set of real cases with expected answers, and the scorecard showing accuracy, refusal behaviour and cost per run. The go/no-go checklist names what must hold before the pilot touches live traffic.

  • 01Task definition: inputs, acceptable outputs, and the cases the system must decline
  • 02Eval set: real cases with expected answers, reviewed by your team
  • 03Scorecard: accuracy, refusal behaviour, latency and cost per run
  • 04Go/no-go checklist: the thresholds the pilot must meet before launch
  • 05Failure log: each wrong answer, its cause, and the fix applied

Where this fits

The partnership, the discipline, the lane.

The wholesale band for AI work is on the pricing page, agency view on: quote against it before a client asks. The partnership itself lives on the agency hub; AI as brands buy it direct has its own home.

Questions

Frequently
asked.

For bench partners, fast: the NDA is signed and the rate card is on file before there's a project, so when your client says yes, a proposal lands within 48 hours and a working pilot (one chatbot, one workflow or one knowledge system, grounded in the client's own data) ships inside 14 days. We scope a pilot rather than a platform: a defined queue or corpus first, evaluated before launch, extended only after it earns that.

Two layers, one of which happens once. Partner onboarding: intro call, your NDA signed, rate card and capability pack on file, a named contact assigned. Per-client onboarding when a brief lands: you introduce the account in your own words, we audit the documentation, queue or systems the AI build needs to touch, and agree the scope (sources in bounds, escalation rules, evaluation criteria) before anything is built, presented in your templates for your client's approval.

Any language model can hallucinate: anyone promising zero is selling something, and that's not a claim we'll ever put behind your logo. What we engineer instead is errors that are rare, visible and contained: chatbots and knowledge systems answer only from the client's own documentation and show the source under each answer; when retrieval comes back thin or confidence is low, the system says so and hands over to a human rather than improvising. Every build runs against an evaluation suite before launch, and every conversation or automated action is logged afterward so a mistake can be found and corrected rather than discovered months later.

The client's, always. Documentation, helpdesk, CRM and any system an assistant or automation reads from or writes to belongs to the client from day one, accessed under a scoped, reversible service account your agency and their team control. Work runs under NDA as standard, and if either of us ever exits the picture, nothing is held hostage: the build keeps running and a proper handover documents exactly how it works.

Yes, and it often produces the best result. Some partners keep the client relationship and documentation ownership in-house and buy the build: their content, our retrieval pipeline and guardrails. Others hand us the whole discipline, doc audit included. The split is agreed per client in the scope, and every build is structured so the client's own team can update the documentation it grounds in without filing a change request.

That's your call, not ours. Some partners describe us as their AI team; others say nothing about who built the white-label AI chatbot or automation. Either works, because our name never turns up in a prompt, a log or a delivered file. What's contractual from our side is fixed: we never contact your client, never accept work from them directly, and the disclosure duty runs the other way. If your client ever approaches us, we tell you and decline.

No, and we'd rather tell you that now than in a post-mortem you have to explain. A grounded chatbot or automation clears the repetitive layer of a queue; it hands back to a human everything that needs judgement, with context attached. The framing we'll use in front of your client is redeployment of attention, not headcount replacement. We won't put an invented percentage on it, because no client's queue is an average.

The wholesale AI rate card is agreed once, in writing, and every engagement is quoted against it. A chatbot, automation or knowledge-system quote never means renegotiating mid-pitch. You set the retail price and keep the margin; we never see your client invoices, and nothing in a build reveals what you pay us. Proposals are itemised by stage (pilot, evaluation, integration, ongoing monitoring), so you can see exactly what the evaluation work costs before you quote it, with no compute, model or platform-fee markup hiding in the number. See the partner rates on agencies.pixelcrayons.com.
