Klaviyo

Klaviyo agency:
the whole platform, not half of it.

We build the automated flows Klaviyo exists for (welcome, abandoned checkout, win-back), segment on the behaviour it records, keep deliverability healthy so sends land, and plan migrations so your history and sender standing arrive with you.

In one answer

PixelCrayons' Klaviyo service designs, builds and runs Klaviyo accounts for commerce brands: welcome, abandoned-checkout and win-back flows, segments built on recorded behaviour, and deliverability kept healthy. We also plan and execute migrations to Klaviyo, keeping profiles, history and sender standing intact, and wire the account into Shopify and WooCommerce stores so every trigger fires on real events. Direct for brands, white-label for agencies.

What the engagement
actually buys.

01

Flow architecture, in earning order

Welcome, abandoned-checkout, browse-abandonment, post-purchase and win-back sequences designed, written and built in Klaviyo, sequenced by expected revenue contribution, not by template order. Flows work every hour of every day on the people most likely to buy, which is why they're built before a single campaign is scheduled.

First
02

Segments on recorded behaviour

Klaviyo sees what people actually do: orders, browsing, engagement recency. The segments we build use it: new subscribers, repeat buyers, at-risk customers and VIPs each get different messages at different cadences. Relevance stays high, unsubscribes stay low, and the blast-everyone button stays retired.

Ongoing
03

Deliverability hygiene

Authentication records verified, sending domains warmed on a schedule, sunset policies applied to dead profiles and the list cleaned before it costs you. That's true in sender reputation and, on Klaviyo's per-profile pricing, in subscription fees too. Checked before volume rises, monitored monthly after.

Monthly
04

Migration to Klaviyo, planned like one

Moving from Mailchimp, Omnisend, HubSpot or a comparable platform without losing what you've built: profiles, consent records and order history mapped across in full, flows rebuilt rather than crudely copied. Sending is warmed so inbox providers meet the new setup gradually, and nothing is switched off until its replacement is proven.

Scoped
05

Wired into the store

Klaviyo earns its keep through platform data, so the integration comes first. Catalogue, order and browsing events flow correctly from your Shopify or WooCommerce store, verified rather than assumed. That way every trigger fires on real behaviour and every product block renders from the live catalogue.

Audit to earning,
one flow at a time.

01
Days 1 to 2

Account & deliverability audit

Flows, segments, campaign history, authentication and list health reviewed in full, or the source platform inventoried for migrations, plus a revenue baseline so progress is judged on real numbers.

02
Week 1

Build map, priced

A prioritised map of the flows, segments and integration fixes worth building, or the migration plan, staged, sequenced by expected revenue contribution, with an itemised price. You approve it before anything is built.

03
Weeks 2 to 4

Core flows live

The highest-value sequences written, designed and switched on in Klaviyo, with deliverability checks passed before send volume rises. For migrations: the move executed stage by stage, nothing lost.

04
Month 2+

Segment, test, report

The campaign calendar begins against the segments, and subject lines and send logic are tested properly. A weekly report ties every flow and campaign to revenue, visible in your own Klaviyo dashboard, not just our slides, and a monthly review call sets what gets built next.

Inside Prism

Your engagement, week to week,

How we report it, in Prism

The programme map,
before the first send.

What you receive in month one

Email is reported against a programme you approve before anything sends. In the first month you receive the flow map with every automated sequence drawn out, the list health report covering deliverability and sender reputation, and the send calendar with owners and review dates. The weekly review in Prism attributes revenue by flow and by campaign, so the number is never a blended total.

  • 01Flow map: every automated sequence, its trigger, and its exit condition
  • 02List health report: deliverability, bounces, sender reputation, consent status
  • 03Send calendar: campaigns, owners, review and send dates
  • 04Weekly review in Prism: revenue by flow and by campaign, opens and clicks as secondary
  • 05Template checklist: rendering, links, unsubscribe and legal footer verified

Klaviyo is one lever.
Meet its neighbours.

Lifecycle earns most when the store, the traffic and the testing pull with it. Every service below is run by the same senior team.

Deepest where your store lives.

Klaviyo's advantage is the platform data underneath it. We build and integrate the stores as well as the flows, which is why the events fire correctly and the catalogue blocks just work.

Questions

Frequently
asked.

Not for everyone, and it's better to hear that before you're paying for it. Klaviyo bills by profile count and costs meaningfully more than Mailchimp-class platforms, with the gap widening as your list grows. It earns that premium when you're a commerce brand with real repeat-purchase potential. The store integration, behavioural triggers, predictive fields and segmentation depth translate directly into flows a cheaper platform can't run. If you send a fortnightly newsletter to a modest list, that capability is wasted and a simpler platform is the honest recommendation. We'll say so in the audit. And if you do choose Klaviyo, list hygiene stops being optional: on per-profile pricing, dead addresses aren't just a deliverability problem, they're a line on your invoice.

Some turbulence is a risk on any platform move. Anyone promising a painless overnight switch is glossing over how inbox providers work. Sender reputation doesn't transfer with your export; it has to be re-earned on the new sending setup. What we do is manage that in the open. Profiles, consent records and engagement history are mapped across in full, flows rebuilt and tested before anything is retired, and signup points switched over cleanly. Sending is warmed gradually, most-engaged segments first, so providers meet the new setup at its best. The old platform stays live until each piece is proven. Expect a managed transition over weeks, not a flip of a switch, and expect your numbers to hold rather than crater.

As deep as the platform allows, because that's where Klaviyo's value is. On Shopify: the full catalogue, order history, checkout and browsing events flow into Klaviyo, so abandonment triggers, product blocks and predictive fields all run on live data. On WooCommerce: the same through Klaviyo's integration, with event tracking verified rather than assumed. Woo setups vary, and a mis-wired integration silently starves every flow downstream. We build and maintain stores on both platforms. So when the fix is on the store side, such as a missing event, a slow theme, or a checkout quirk, the same team fixes it there instead of filing a ticket into the void.

Plenty of brands run Klaviyo perfectly well themselves. The platform is genuinely usable, and if that's you, the audit will say so. An agency starts paying for itself when the gap between what your account does and what it could do is worth more than the fee: flows unbuilt, segments unused, campaigns going to everyone, deliverability quietly slipping. That gap tends to grow with list size and catalogue complexity. Either way, nothing we build locks you in: the flows, segments and templates live in your account and are documented well enough that your team, or another agency, could take over tomorrow.

Flow builds and migrations are typically scoped as one-off projects, with an optional retainer for campaigns, segmentation and reporting afterwards. The price depends on how many flows and segments your list justifies, which is exactly what the audit establishes. Klaviyo's own subscription is separate and billed by Klaviyo. We'll help you choose the right tier and keep the profile count clean so you're not paying for dead addresses. Every proposal itemises deliverables so you compare like with like. You'll have a written, priced scope within 48 hours of the first call.

Look at the work itself. Ask how flows are sequenced, what the segments are built on, and how deliverability is checked before volume rises. Ask whether the store integration is verified or assumed. Then ask who owns the result: everything we build lives in your account, documented well enough for your team or another agency to take over.

See what your Klaviyo
account is leaving unearned.

Send us your store platform and list size and we'll come back with a free Klaviyo review. It covers which flows are missing, where deliverability is leaking, and whether the integration is actually feeding the account, priced and itemised within 48 hours. Keep it either way.
