About the client

Basil
Testing, Inspection & Certification

Basil (Basil Inspection and Certification FZCO) is an independent testing, inspection and certification company. Its services cover inspection, testing, audits and supply-chain work in categories such as textiles, toys, food, footwear, home care, hardlines and electrical goods.

Its clients are brands, retailers and suppliers who need assurance on quality and compliance, so the website has to show the range of services clearly and make it easy to ask for a quote.

The challenge

What had to change

  • 01A wide range of inspection, testing, audit and supply-chain services had to be easy to browse.
  • 02Each product category needed a service page of its own.
  • 03Public information, newsletters, videos and complaint handling needed a clear place on the site.
  • 04Asking for a quote had to be simple.

A modern presence

Solution

A clean, image-led design in the brand's olive and sage, with large headline slides on the homepage.

Information a certification company publishes

Pages for publicly available information, newsletters, videos and complaint handling, each reachable from the main menu.

A quote request and contact

The results

A new website designed and developed for an independent TIC company

Every service category with its own page

Public information and complaint handling one click from the menu

A foundation the client can keep building on

Lessons

What other teams can take from this

Organise services the way buyers ask

Buyers arrive asking about a product, not a department. Category pages meet them there.

Trust pages are part of the offer

For a certification business, public information and a complaints route are part of what clients check before they buy.

Build a foundation, not a finish line

A website that is easy to extend keeps pace as new services and categories are added.
